REUNION: Completion of a joint developed modular reactor

What began as a small 0.5L reactor as part of a bachelor's thesis in our laboratory has been continuously refined over the past 1.5 years in the research project ENPRO-REUNION for larger-scale industrial applications. As a module manufacturer, De Dietrich contributed the design drafts for the core apparatus and built it. KROHNE provided support in selecting the sensor technology and contributed it. HiTec Zang equipped the module with a control cabinet and controllers and implemented the modular control system in the form of the Module Type Package (MTP) with the support of Semodia. On January 20, the reactor module arrived at Merck in Darmstadt to be field tested together with other modules developed in the project.
We are delighted with the excellent cooperation on this project and are looking forward to the future!
