Curriculum Vitae
Julia Schuler has studied mechanical engineering at Paderborn University since 2012 with a focus on energy technology and process engineering. She performed her study thesis about the “Experimental and computational study of interstitial saturation and transport in oil mist filters” at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. This work included the investigation of multiphase flow using micro CT and CFD. Julia completed her masters with the thesis “Modelling and theoretical comparison of different approaches for the treatment of nitrous waste gases” which she performed at Lanxess Deutschland GmbH in Leverkusen. Since July 2018 she works as a research associate at the Laboratory of Equipment Design. In her research she will examine the transport phenomena in miniaturized equipment using micro CT.
