Curriculum Vitae
Alina Tauriainen has been studying Chemical Engineering at TU Dortmund University since 2016. She completed her bachelor’s thesis “Investigation of Asymmetrical Pulsation Patterns in Stirred-Pulsed Solvent Extraction” at the Laboratory of Equipment Design. Following her bachelor’s degree, she worked in the biological development department at Bayer in Wuppertal.
During her Master’s program, Alina spent a semester abroad at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. She graduated in 2024 with a master’s thesis entitled “Modular Continuous Reactors for Immobilized Biocatalytic Reactions”, also conducted at the Laboratory of Equipment Design.
Since then, Alina has been working as a research associate at the Laboratory of Equipment Design, participating in the AUFBRUCH project, with a focus on enzyme immobilization, reactor design, and the automation of modular processes.
