Curriculum Vitae

Since 2019 Robin Fortmann studied Chemical Engineering at TU Dortmund University. In 2024 he completed his bachelor thesis "Opportunities and Limitations of Stereolithographic Printing for Microfluidic Applications" at the Laboratory of Equipment Design. During his masters studies he supported M.Sc. Bastian Oldach and later on M.Sc. Mazen ben Moussa as a student assistant. In this time Robin worked on remotely controlled laboratory equipment, automatization technologies and microfluidic reactor design. He graduated in 2026 with thhe master thesis "Machine-Learning Assisted Design, Classification, and Optimization of Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces (TPMS) for Application in Process Engineering" at the Laboratory of Equipment Design. In May 2026 he started as a research associate at the Laboratory of Equipment Design developing automated laboratory equipment and investigating DNA-encoded chemistry.
